Mount Laurel Historical Society

The collection contains several artifacts and photographs relating to Mount Laurel history. There are physical copies of some local publications and books about the area. The collection is only accessible on the second Tuesday of the month at 7:00pm but there is a contact form on their site for more information. They also take donations.
Burlington County Historical Society

The collection includes historical photographs, maps, manuscripts and deeds, census records and local newspapers available on microfilm. Researchers must schedule appointments in advance.

The library’s New Jersey Room is a dedicated space for family and local research. They have an extensive microfilm collection and local newspaper index. The collection also has a wide array of historical maps of the area. There are also family files of donated materials and even some old local funeral home ledgers.

The County’s first general history and natural science museum, housed in the Langstaff Mansion in historic Mount Holly.

The site includes a photo archive and a PDF of a historic walking or driving tour of Marlton.
Medford Historical Society

There is a contact form and a PO Box address on their website. The Kirby’s Mill location is only open for special events. There is a lot of information on their site including their other historic locations in town, like the William Still house,upcoming local history events and many of the photographs in their collection are digitized and available to view online.
Historical Society of Moorestown

The collection includes several hundred books on local history and families, some of which were owned or written by Moorestown residents; an extensive manuscript collection encompasses materials from the mid 1800s to the 1970s; an indexed scrapbook collection of news articles on Moorestown residents from the turn of the century to the 1940s; photograph and map collections and an index of information on Moorestown homes and buildings .

The library’s New Jersey room houses its collection of materials for historical and genealogical research. This collection is available for use in the library only, as many of the materials are rare and in fragile condition. The collection has many local Moorestown area newspapers on microfilm. It may be important to note that Mount Laurel students attended high school in Moorestown until Lenape High School opened in 1958.
